There’s something wonderful about a spirit that manages to be incredibly smooth and satisfying… introducing Café Bohême.

Inspired by the rich cocktails enjoyed in the Salons of Paris during the Roaring Twenties, Café Bohême is a luxurious mix of gourmet coffee, multi-distilled French vodka and premium crème. Blended to be served straight up, on the rocks, or mixed with other premium spirits, Café Bohême also makes a fine after-dinner companion. Its amazing taste (ranked “Superb” by Wine Spectator) and low-alcohol component means it’s great for gifting.

And with Mother’s Day right around the corner (ahem, this Sunday), why not treat her to a little taste of Paris.

Sure it’s not your average gift of flowers or chocolate, but then again you’ve never been the average type.

Modern man has found many ways to unwind. None is more effective than tequila.

No other liquid has the power to transform an otherwise-predictable gathering into full-throttle revelry.

And now that you’re past the age of slamming low-end shots, it’s time to upgrade your tequila. It’s time that you get to know Partida Tequila. Made from 100% premium blue agave, Partida rides an elegant balance of smooth, clean notes with a complex aroma and flavor.

Its exceptionally pure taste (awarded Gold by the Beverage Tasting Institute) stems from generations of tequila-making expertise. To make the best, they start with the best harvests from their own plantation. Honoring the legacy of traditional Mexican methods, Partida allows their agave seven to ten years to achieve full maturity and better quality piñas, the heart of the plant. The piñas are then cooked slowly, twice-distilled, and aged to maturity - resulting in a full, rich flavor profile.

Partida’s even won five out of five stars from F. Paul Pacult (one of the world’s most accomplished and respected authorities in the wine & spirits world) in The Spirit Journal – a first for an entire tequila line.

It’s the kind of tequila you reserve for giant victories (or a Giant victory).

And for making, quite possibly, the best tasting tequila cocktails.

The bold black bottle, the complex citrus notes, the strong finish. Yes, you know about ABSOLUT 100, the new ultra-premium vodka that’s perfectly suited for your table at home or in the club.

Maybe you had a chance to celebrate its New York soirée, a luxurious, ritzed out, Prohibition-themed evening of revelry. With vintage Model Ts parked outside, a townhouse in Tribeca was transformed into The 100 Club. Gentleman donned their finest pinstripes and ladies their flapper best as the big band blowed and cocktails flowed.

Angelenos got glammed up, too, as ABSOLUT 100 debuted in Hollywood at Les Deux on Halloween. Everyone was treated to an evening of cocktails and sweet saxophone. And of course, the stars came out. Lauren “LC” Conrad was there, so was Wilmer Valderamma, Mekhi Phifer, and Kevin Connolly from Entourage. There was even a special performance by The Pussycat Dolls to round out the lavish evening.

Now that the premiere parties have past, it’s time to start your own.

The toast: to Extravagance Has A Dark Side”.

You know all about ABSOLUT 100, the new ultra-premium offering from ABSOLUT.

The swaggering, smooth spirit deserves its exalted status. Made of winter wheat grown in Southern Sweden, pristine water, and perfected through a continuous distillation process, ABSOLUT 100 is everything a luxury vodka should be. It even arrives in a sleek black bottle that sends a clear message: “Extravagance Has A Dark Side”.

To fête its Gotham debut, ABSOLUT 100 has set a grand stage - The 100 Club, complete with a speakeasy setting, mobster mentality, and killer cocktails. A private entrance and password will lead you into the soirée with a blazing jazz band and a decadence this city hasn’t seen since the Roaring 20s. You’ll have to dress the part, too. But that should be easy: wear a smart pinstripe suit and fedora to match the ladies in their finest flapper dresses topped with feathered headbands.

Then it’s time to reward yourself with an ABSOLUT 100 cocktail served from one of the white-gloved waiters, and mingling with fellow pinstripes and flappers.

Repeat with abandon.

Visit absolut.com/darkside to find out more about The 100 Club, coming to NYC in a Tribeca townhouse this Saturday (10/27), and LA’s Les Deux next Wednesday (10/31).

You live for this time of year.

For you, shorter days mean longer nights and better parties. And better parties start with better vodka. Bring on the night with ABSOLUT 100, the latest premium spirit from the first name in vodka.

Bold and spicy yet smooth and sophisticated, ABSOLUT 100 is a luxury vodka you can relate to. Like you, it mixes well, making vodka tonics crisper and Cosmopolitans richer. Order it cold and neat to savor its citrus and floral notes, or indulge in a bottle when the occasion arises.

Or resurrect the glamour of the Prohibition Era with a vodka martini, served with a big band jazz soundtrack and an umbrella of darkness. As you unwind into the night with drink in hand, you’ll notice your cocktail is stronger, smoother, with a long, warm aftertaste (it’s the strong, silent type). That’s the result of a complex distillation process that results in a more prominent overall aroma. It’s what cocktail connoisseurs call “mind blowing”.

You can call it ABSOLUT 100.

Dude, you’ve been drinking a lot this Summer.

Angels & Kings’ The Brazilian Wax

In the spirit of cocktails with naughty names (Sex on the Beach, etc.) comes Cabana Cachaça’s signature cocktail, The Brazilian Wax. This sensual cocktail is sweet and fruity.

Oh, and this version’s painless.

2 oz Cabana Cachaça
Pineapple Juice
Club Soda
½ Teaspoon of Triple Sec

Fill a glass with crushed ice and pour in Cabana. Fill near top with pineapple juice and top with a splash of club soda and triple sec. Stir, add garnish of your choice and serve.

Dune’s Bartles & Jaymes Sake Margarita

Summer means trying all sorts of new things: like mixing B&J with sake and tequila for a Bartles & Jaymes Sake Margarita. Soft and approachable at first, this cocktail builds slowly, and then it hits you.

HOW TO MAKE IT
1 oz Bartles & Jaymes Raspberry Pomegranate Wine Cooler
½ oz Sake
1 oz Tequila
½ oz Simple Syrup
½ oz Triple Sec
Splash of Orange Juice

Bridgehampton Polo’s Bubble’s ‘n Blue

Mix a little champagne with a little Hpnotiq and voilà, Bubble’s ‘n Blue. It’s elegant and easy, just like weekends in the Hamptons.

HOW TO MAKE IT
2 oz Hpnotiq
2 oz Champagne

Combine and serve in a chilled champagne flute.

Bubble’s ‘n Blue was served all weekend at the Mercedes-Benz Bridgehampton Polo Challenge.

The Spotted Pig’s Old Speckled Hen

It is the balance of rich, malty undertones and fruity notes that make Old Speckled Hen a smooth beer. Then again, it could be that an ice cold OSH on a hot day is a thing of beauty.

Old Speckled Hen is served at The Spotted Pig and available at gastropubs throughout NYC.

Knowing what to drink is almost as important as where you’re drinking it. And so we deliver another fine Liquid Assets feature, the insider’s guide to the city’s best cocktails.

Gramercy Hotel Private Roof Club’s Sagatiba Maca Martini
At the Gramercy’s swanky Private Roof Club (you can get in by checking into the hotel, scoring an invite to a private event or snagging a coveted membership offer) the fresh, crisp-tasting Sagatiba Cachaça anchors the cocktail menu. Called a Brazilian Rum, Cachaça is actually made from sugarcane rather than the molasses of traditional rums. The Sagatiba Maca Martini, the Roof Club’s signature cocktail, flaunts the spirit and tickles the tongue.

HOW TO MAKE IT
2 oz Sagatiba Cachaça
1/2 oz elderflower cordial
1/2 oz fresh pressed lime juice (juice of half a lime)
2 1/2 oz apple cider

Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with an apple disc and mint sprig.

Available at The Private Roof Club (Gramercy Hotel), 2 Lexington Avenue (21st & 22nd Streets), (212) 920-3300, gramercyparkhotel.com/roof_club.

Rayuela’s Piña Partida
The muy deliciosa cocktails at the new L.E.S. resto/lounge Rayuela are creative and playful thanks to celebrated Mexican mixologist Junior Merino (The Modern). To compliment the Latin fare, Merino’s innovative cocktail menu includes signature drink Piña Partida. The light and fruity creation is perfect for the summer palate. Viva la Partida!

HOW TO MAKE IT
2 slices English Cucumber, 1/4 inch thick
2 chunks of pineapple
1/4 of a lemon
1/3 oz Partida Agave Nectar
1 1/2 oz Partida Tequila Blanco
1/2 oz Sprite

Available at Rayuela, 165 Allen Street (Stanton & Rivington Streets), (212) 253-8840, rayuelanyc.com.

Amalia’s The Demeter
The chandeliers, the floating staircase, the Baroque ceiling portraits. Amalia’s opulent interior by SLDesign, has stolen the show. Until now. We found the cocktail menu’s secret gem, The Demeter.

HOW TO MAKE IT
3 black cherries, muddled
3/4 oz elderflower cordial
1 1/2 oz Martin Millers London Gin
splash of soda

Top cherries and elderflower cordial with the gin. Add a splash of soda and garnish with a lemon twist.

Available at Amalia, 204 West 55th Street (Broadway), (212) 245-1234, amalia-nyc.com.

Aquavit’s Pom
The Swedes know a thing or two about their spiced drinks, and the chefs at Aquavit know how to perfect the age-old Aqua Vitae recipe into their White Cranberry flavored Aquavit New York brand liquor. Try it in this sweet and sour concoction.

HOW TO MAKE IT
2 ounces of Aquavit New York - White Cranberry
2 ounces of Sour Mix
1 ounce of Pomegranate Juice
Top with Martinelli’s sparkling cider

Shake in an ice-filled tumbler and strain over ice. Top with Martinelli’s sparkling cider.

Available at Aquavit, 65 East 55th Street (Madison & Park Avenues), (212) 593-0287, aquavit.org.

The Tribeca Grand is grand and all. But you want something hidden. Something unique. Refined cocktails. Precise presentation.

Fortunately the nabe’s new spot, B Flat, is away from the craze and clutter. Don’t let the name fool you, the interior is “A Sharp” in design. And thanks to the team of bar chefs migrated from Angel’s Share, the cocktails are divine (peruse the menu).

The menu opens with intricate concoctions with jazz-inspired names like Kind of Blue (Miles Davis), a vodka-based beverage with Blue Curaçao, lemoncello, Calpico, and lime juice. The Lady in Satin (Billy Holiday) mixes sake with vodka and violet liqueur.

But don’t get stuck on the first page of originals. The ensuing menu pages offer a variety of typical (Margarita, Mojito, Whisky Sour) and not so typical (Moscow Mule, Planter’s Punch, Pancho Villa) classics.

There are small plates and desserts, to compliment the cocktails, of course. Try the Steamed Little Neck Clams which are served in a sauce that delicately combines a plethora of flavors: anchovy, garlic, white truffle oil, and escargot butter. You might want to tuck a heel of bread into your lapel to soak it up, it’s that good.

You won’t hear a trace of the soft jazz from upstairs. In fact you won’t see a trace of B Flat’s polished dark wood bar, clean lines and immense blooming lilies.

But in the red-hued street level window at 277 Church the remaining debris from former inhabitant I Bar only adds to the intrigue of what’s B-low.

It’s our little secret.

The World Bar’s World Peace Cocktail

1 ½ oz Bombay Sapphire Gin
½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Splash of Elderflower Syrup (the Elderflower is a symbol for compassion)
